I am a lover of patterns, colours and all things pretty. In fact, it has been that way ever since I can remember. I was always picky about what I wore, how my room looked and what coloured artworks I created as a child. I took an interest in interior decorating, cutting out furniture from the ikea catalogues (to my Mums dismay) and mocking up rooms. I, Jacqui Pix, was born to live and breathe interiors. I have worked on films such as The Great Gatsby and many tv shows, such as Celebrity Apprentice, Australia’s Next Top Model, Master Chef, Wild Boys, Packed to the Rafters, Home and Away and Better Homes and Gardens. Now I am a stylist for channel 7, and couldn’t be more at home.
I believe interiors should reflect who you are. Your house is your home. You should feel comfortable and happy with your space. I’ve started this blog because I believe you should have a home that reflects who you are, even if you don’t have a million dollars to do it. I’m going to show you a few tricks I have picked up along the way working as a stylist. I will show you the cute shops I have discovered. I will trawl through Gumtree and show you the good buys. I will show you colour palettes to inspire your own colour style. I will take you through some cool homes that exude personal style.
My wish is that you’ll find your style, make your house a home and all for a price you can pay.
